Former Sydney guard DJ Vasiljevic has reportedly signed a training camp deal with the Washington Wizards.

Two-time NBL championship winning guard DJ Vasiljevic has signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the Washington Wizards, according to ESPN’s Olgun Uluc.

Vasiljevic departed the Sydney Kings following their NBL23 title win – their second in two seasons – to pursue European and NBA opportunities.

The 26-year-old recently played alongside Sydney teammate and reigning NBL MVP Xavier Cooks at NBA Summer League, and made three appearances across the tournament, including an exceptional performance against the Oklahoma City Thunder where he scored 14 points in just 11 minutes of play.

An Exhibit 10 contract is a one-year, non-guaranteed minimum salary contract that allows a player to participate in a team’s pre-season training camp.

The contract allows the team to convert the player to a two-way contract if desired prior to the commencement of the season, and also gives the team the player's NBA G-League rights.

Former Sydney King Makur Maker signed an Exhibit 10 deal with the Wizards last season before representing Philadelphia at this year’s Summer League.
