"He’s a strong, physical player who will improve our rebounding on both ends and add depth in our bigs rotation."

The Tasmania JackJumpers have bolstered their front court with the addition of exciting college graduate Kobe Williamson, on a two year deal.

Williamson completed five years at Seattle University, where he averaged over nine points and four rebounds in his senior year.

"Kobe is a promising young big with huge potential," Chief Operating Officer Darren Smith said.

"He’s a strong, physical player who will improve our rebounding on both ends and add depth in our bigs rotation.

"We’re excited to support his development and see the impact he can make in a JackJumpers jersey."

Williamson has recently signed for Knox in the NBL1 South, as he gets ready for his rookie professional season in NBL26.

"I’m very grateful for this opportunity and can’t wait to get to work with the coaching staff and the guys," he said.

"I’ve kept an eye on what the JackJumpers have built so far and feel like it’s something really, special so I’m excited to be part of it."

JackJumpers head coach Scott Roth had been open about finding a suitable local replacement in the center position, after the departure of Fabijan Krslovic.
