Keep tabs on how the stars of NBL26/27 are faring during the off-season, with our weekly off-season wrap, covering action from the local NBL1 competition to all corners of the globe.

With the 2026 NBL1 season underway, there were a number of massive performances, including Cairns' Reyne Smith equalling the all-time three-pointers made in one game record (12) for the Maitland Mustangs and Adelaide's Michael Harris exploding for 45 points against Joondalup in their NBL1 West fixture.

Overseas, Taipans forward Jack McVeigh scored a season-high 30 points in Puerto Rico, while JaVale McGee has helped his Beijing Ducks take a 2-0 lead in their Chinese CBA Quarter-Finals.

NBL1
Michael Harris
exploded for Rockingham this round, hitting nine triples on his way to 45 points, to go with 8 rebounds and 5 assists.

Fellow Flames Isaac White (29 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists) and Blake Jones (10 points and 11 rebounds) were also solid in the team’s victory over Joondalup.

Other Sixers in action across the weekend were Central Districts’ Magok Manyang (7 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists) and Deng Manyang (22 points and 8 rebounds), Southern Tigers’ Che Brogan (8 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists), Nunawading’s Ben Griscti (14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists) and Mandurah’s Matt Kenyon (combined for 24 points, 20 rebounds, 9 dimes and 6 steals).

OVERSEAS
Keanu Rasmussen
continued his impressive form in the NZNBL, posting 19 points and 10 rebounds in the Hawke’s Bay Hawks’ 91–82 victory.

NBL1
Jack Purchase
guided Melbourne to two key victories against Geelong and Frankston. The forward averaged 19 points, 6.5 boards, and 5.5 dimes across the pair of wins.

Both Ipswich’s Lamar Patterson (22 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists) and Gold Coast’s Jensen Bradtke (19 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists) also scored in double-figures, while Knox’s Tad Dufelmeier (8 points, 3 rebounds and 6 assists) and Logan’s Callum Dalton (9 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists) were also solid for their respective teams.

OVERSEAS
Tyrell Harrison
has been dominating the boards in Puerto Rico, averaging 11.5 rebounds across his past four games.

Jacob Holt wrapped up his season in Frankfurt with an overtime defeat, recording 6 points and 5 rebounds.

NBL1
Reyne Smith
continues to light up the NBL1 East competition, this time equalling Cockburn’s Carter Skaggs for the most triples hit in a game (12). Those three-pointers saw Smith end with 43 points, as Maitland defeated Albury-Wodonga on the road.

South Adelaide’s Lloyd McVeigh (36 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals) and Bankstown’s Alex Higgins-Titsha (combined 44 points, 20 rebounds and 2 assists) also had weekends to remember.

Elsewhere, Geelong’s Lachie Barker (average of 14.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1 dime and 1 steal), Cairns’ Kody Stattmann (21 points, 5 rebounds and 2 blocks), Sandringham’s Kyle Adnam (20 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists) and Waverley’s Mawot Mag (average of 10 points, 5.5 boards and 2 steals) all turned in solid showings.

OVERSEAS
Andrew Andrews
may have had his best outing yet in China, finishing with 17 points, 9 assists, and 6 rebounds in Zhejiang’s Quarter Final series opener. Jack McVeigh exploded for a season-high 30 points in Puerto Rico, knocking down six triples while adding 8 rebounds in a 92–81 win.

NBL1
Illawarra duo Todd Blanchfield (31 points, 14 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 blocks and 7 triples) and Mason Peatling (20 points, 14 rebounds and 2 blocks) dominated against Inner West, while both Biwali Bayles (25 points, 8 boards and 6 dimes) and Johny Narkle (20 points, 3 rebounds and 4 steals) turned in massive performances for Bendigo and Cockburn, respectively.

In his season debut, Will Hickey averaged 19.5 points, 7.5 boards, 4.5 dimes, 1 steal and 1 block for Hornsby against Penrith and Norths.

Other Hawks to hit the hardwood were East Perth’s Jonah Antonio (12 points, 5 rebounds and 3 steals), Dandenong’s Harry Froling (18 points and 9 rebounds), Cairns’ Kobe McDowell-White (3 points, 6 rebounds, 9 assists and 2 steals) and Cairns’ Luca Yates (8 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists).

OVERSEAS
Dan Grida
posted 16 points and 13 rebounds in Hawke’s Bay’s win over the Otago Nuggets, while Jackson Ball added 14 points and 6 assists. JaVale McGee and the Beijing Ducks have taken a 2–0 lead in their CBA Quarter-Finals series over Nick Rakocevic and the Guangdong Tigers. McGee scored 13 points in Game 1 before adding 8 points and 8 rebounds in Game 2.

NBL1
Norths’ Fabijan Krslovic (average of 18 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 1 steal) and Melbourne’s Tom Wilson (13 points, 5 rebounds and 6.5 assists) powered their teams to two wins over the weekend, whilmade his season debut, dropping 23 points, 3 boards and 4 dimes for Sandringham against Casey.

Also in action for the Sabres were Kyle Bowen (13 points, 12 rebounds, 4 steals and 3 blocks) and Malith Machar (17 points, 5 rebounds and 2 blocks), as Henry Sewell added 16 points, 3 rebounds and 2 blocks for Knox.

OVERSEAS
Milton Doyle
closed out the regular season in Italy with 12 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists in Napoli’s win.

NBL1
Dejan Vasiljevic
helped Sturt defeat West Adelaide with his 11 points and 4 rebounds, while new Breaker Preston Le Gassick dropped 23 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists for the Gold Coast in their win over the Sunshine Coast.

OVERSEAS
Carlin Davison
continues to fill up the box score for the Wellington Saints, averaging 13.8 points, 8.5 assists, and 7.3 rebounds through six games.

Izayah Le’Afa recorded 11 points and 11 assists in Wellington’s latest win over the Bulls.Rob Loe flirted with a triple-double in Auckland’s win over Nelson, tallying 18 points, 9 assists, 7 rebounds, and 4 steals.

Alex McNaught stuffed the stat sheet in his 100th NZNBL appearance, finishing with 16 points, 11 assists, 6 rebounds, and 3 steals for the Nelson Giants.

Reuben Te Rangi poured in 31 points despite the Whai’s loss to the Rams and is now averaging 30 points per game through his first three outings.

NBL1
East Perth’s David Okwera and Lat Mayen both produced huge weekends, averaging 22 points and 17 points respectively against Eastern and Geraldton.

Cam Huefner had 25 points (including 5 triples) and 11 rebounds for Perry Lakes, while Lakeside’s Tom Gerovich totalled 23 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists against Warwick and Geraldton.

Kristian Doolittle h
as hit the ground running in Puerto Rico, averaging 21 points and 5.5 rebounds through his first two games with Manatí. Elijah Pepper delivered another standout performance in the NZNBL with 23 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 assists in Wellington’s win. He’s now averaging 26.7 points per game.

Luke Rosendale
was the standout, averaging 26 points, 3 rebounds and 4 dimes for Hobart against Mount Gambier and Keilor, as Patrick Ryan totalled 23 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals for Casey versus Sandringham and Waverley.

Elsewhere, recruit Tanner Krebs averaged 16.5 points, 5 boards, 1 dime and 2 steals for Casey and Daniel Foster averaged 17.5 points, 6 rebounds, 7 dimes and 1 steal for Keilor over the weekend.

OVERSEAS
Akech Aliir
posted a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds in Wellington’s victory.

Wes Iwundu added 16 points and 6 rebounds in Israel and is averaging 17.5 points through his first four games.

Nathan Sobey erupted for 37 points in Puerto Rico before backing it up with 22 points, 10 assists, and 6 rebounds in his next outing.g.

Shaun Bruce
continued his exceptional form for Logan, tallying 33 points, 4 boards and 9 dimes in his side’s win over Ipswich.

While Ballarat’s Lachie Dent (41 points and 5 assists) and Sydney’s Goc Malual (11 points, 18 rebounds and 6 blocks) were standouts for their respective outfits.

OVERSEAS
Xavier Cooks
dominated for Bayamón with 19 points and 14 rebounds, while Jaylin Galloway contributed 15 points in the win.

Torrey Craig stayed hot in Puerto Rico, posting 22 points and 9 rebounds in his latest game. He’s averaging 22.8 points through four appearances.

Kendric Davis continues to light up Puerto Rico, leading the league with 24.5 points per game through six contests.

Tim Soares also impressed, finishing with 22 points and 9 rebounds in his team’s most recent win.

NBL1
Knox duo Kobe Williamson (19 points, 16 boards, 4 dimes and 2 blocks) and Brody Nunn (13 points and 6 assists) were both solid, while Diamond Valley pair Ryley Haywood (13 points, 2 rebounds and 6 assists) and Archie Woodhill (16 points and 6 boards) did all they could for the Eagles.

OVERSEAS
Josh Bannan
finished the regular season in Italy with 10 points and 9 rebounds.

Nick Marshall returned to Napoli after a month on the sidelines, scoring 5 points in the regular season finale.

Nick Stoddart continues to produce in the NZNBL, most recently recording 22 points and 6 assists for the Whai.
