Free agency begins April 15

Teams will be able to sign free agents from April 15 ahead of the 2024/25 NBL season.

The signature of some of the best players in the Hungry Jack’s NBL will be up for grabs when the Free Agency period opens on April 15.

Clubs will be able to sign players from Monday, April 15 at 9am (AEST).

All team, player and mutual options need to be confirmed by Thursday, April 11, at 12pm (AEST).

Once options are taken or declined, a full Free Agents list will be made public on Friday, April 12.

Fans will have the chance to stay up to date with all the latest news and rumours from free agency across the NBL’s social media channels with the return of The Marketplace featuring ESPN news breaker and award-winning journalist Olgun Uluc, commentator Jack Heverin and other experts.

Clubs are currently able to announce decisions on options and re-signings of players.

Teams can still have a maximum of three imports next season, with 11 contracted players per roster.

Next Stars do not count towards the 11 contracted players.
