Biography

Having not played a game of basketball for three years, is now entering a third season back playing after time at the Sydney Kings and New Zealand Breakers ahead of joining the defending champion Illawarra Hawks.

The 29-year-old power forward was born in Melbourne but mostly grew up in Sydney with his father, Bruce, one of the all-time greats of the NBL.

Moved to the US in 2013 aged 17 and signed with UCLA, where he played two seasons with the Bruins before declaring for the 2016 NBA Draft.

Had stints in Serbia and Israel before joining the Philadelphia 76ers for the 2018/19 season where he went on to play 54 NBA games that first season with the Sixers, including 10 as a starter as part of the playoff run.

Split his time between the 76ers and Phoenix Suns in the 2019/20 NBA season, before deciding to retire from basketball to focus on a cryptocurrency career.

Returned to the game at the Kings in NBL24 with 8.5 points and 6.4 rebounds before joining the Breakers in NBL25 for 6.0 points and 5.8 boards ahead of joining Illawarra.
