WATCH: Cotton goes off against Denver Nuggets

For more than a decade, six-time MVP Bryce Cotton has been dominating in NBL colours.

One of the most impressive performances during that time came in 2018 while playing for the Perth Wildcats during their tour of the United States.

As part of their NBAxNBL pre-season tour, Cotton and the Wildcats took on the Denver Nuggets, headlined by All-Stars Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray.

While the Nuggets ended up winning the fixture 96-88, the Wildcats pushed them all the way, thanks to a 33-point eruption by Cotton.

His performance, which also included 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals, impressed plenty that day, including then Nuggets coach Michael Malone.

“He’s played in the NBA before. I think he has shown he is good enough to be on a NBA roster,” Malone said.

“Obviously right now he feels he has good situation over there playing for Perth. If he’s happy, good for him. If he wants to come back, I’m sure there are teams that would be interested in having him back.

“Bryce Cotton had a hell of a game. He was terrific tonight.”
