Tasmania JackJumpers' Tom Vodanovich says he is "ready to help" in any way he can ahead of his JackJumpers debut on Wednesday night.

Tasmania JackJumpers’ new signing, Tom Vodanovich, has expressed his readiness to jump at whatever opportunity he gets with the club in the remaining eight games of NBL24.

The 2022 NBL champion has just come off a stint with the FiberXers in the Philippines, and has hit the ground running, as he assured he’s ready to take on whatever role he can to help Tasmania.

“I’m coming in ready to help however I can, it’s a quick eight games left of the season, so I’m ready to jump at whatever I get,” Vodanovich said.

Vodanovich was brought in to help cover the absence of Majok Deng who is out with an ankle sprain.

“I know what the group does and the way they like to be physical, can get up and down, and let everyone know that you’re playing the JackJumpers,” he said.

The New Zealand-born forward also acknowledged the JackJumpers’ faithful when playing at MyState Bank Arena, and is excited to have the crowd behind him.

“Without a doubt the way that gym packs out, there’s no other place to be. You don’t want to play when you’re on the other team,” Vodanovich said.

“To have that crowd behind you, it shows the results they’ve had at home over the past few seasons of what it can do for you. I’m looking forward to having that behind me for once.”

Vodanovich and the JackJumpers will face the Brisbane Bullets on Wednesday night at 7:30pm AEDT, live on ESPN via Kayo.
