The Adelaide 36ers have added former Melbourne United development player Jack Purchase as an injury replacement following the news that Isaac Humphries will miss four to six weeks due to a foot injury.

The Adelaide 36ers have added former Melbourne United development player Jack Purchase as an injury replacement following the news that Isaac Humphries will miss four to six weeks due to a foot injury.

Purchase completed a four-year College career at the University of Hawaii in in 2019 (first year at the University of Auburn).

As a senior he earned Big West second-team honours, won the team’s Art Woolaway Most Outstanding Player Award, led the team in scoring (11.5ppg), three-point makes and was one of only three players to start all 31 games.

The son of Nigel Purchase, whose 250 game NBL career was synonymous with the Melbourne Tigers early rise, Jack followed his father’s footsteps as a junior at the club and was part of the Melbourne Tigers NBL1 South team for the 2019 & 2020 seasons.

He will join the 36ers immediately, suiting up for Thursday night’s clash against the Illawarra Hawks.
