Return of the King: Young gun's starring role

Saturday, May 10, 2025
Sydney Kings star Galloway scored 37 points in his debut with the Bankstown Bruins.
Six months on the sidelines clearly hasn't quelled Jaylin Galloway's appetite to play, with the Sydney Kings star returning in style via the NBL1 on Saturday night.
Galloway scored 37 points in his debut with the Bankstown Bruins, with an impressive display also netting 13 rebounds, 3 assists, 4 steals and 2 blocks.
The 22-year-old played just 10 games last season, before suffering a shoulder injury in Round 7. He underwent surgery shortly after.
Galloway has an incredibly bright future, having signed a two-way contract with the Milwaukee Bucks in 2024, lining up with the Wisconsin Herd in the NBA's G League, and already with five NBL seasons under his belt.
He lined up alongside 400-game veteran Jason Cadee, who retired from the NBL at the end of last season.
