Hamilton takes pole position in Tassie

"He has proven scoring ability, and the physicality and versatility to impact at both ends."
The Tasmania JackJumpers have taken a big step forward in their roster build, signing American import Bryce Hamilton for the Hungry Jack’s NBL26 Season.
The 24-year-old is the JackJumpers’ final signing, having spent the last two seasons in and Greece and Germany. He averaged 17.8 points, 4.2 rebounds and 2.3 assists a game for Rostock Seawolves in the Bundesliga.
Hamilton finished third in the League for average points per game in the 2024/25 season.
“We’re thrilled to bring Bryce to Tasmania and add his impressive skillset to the group. He has proven scoring ability, and the physicality and versatility to impact at both ends,” General Manager Basketball, Darren Smith said.
“Hamilton is a combination guard who can fill multiple positions and provide strong on court leadership.”
The JackJumpers’ roster has seen significant change in the off-season, with the departures of NBL24 Champions Milton Doyle, Jordon Crawford, Clint Steindl and Fabijan Krslovic.
Hamilton joins fellow guard David Johnson as the club’s two imports.
Prior to his stint in Europe, he was a key part of the South Bay Lakers in the G League for two years, averaging 16.2 points in 30 minutes per game.
“Bryce has experience in some of the best leagues in the world. He’s a crafty left hander who I think will prove a handful for opponents in the NBL,” Smith added.
