Kendric Davis is set to arrive in Sydney within the week, with passport issues delaying his return from the United States nearing resolution.

Following a delayed return to Australia, reports suggest the wait will be over soon for Hungry Jack’s NBL26 champion Kendric Davis.

According to ESPN’s Olgun Uluc, last season's Championship Series MVP is expected to arrive in the Harbour City within the next week.

Davis, who re-signed with Sydney on a historic two-year deal in June, has had his return to the country from the United States delayed due to passport issues, which are in the final stages of being resolved.

“There’s confidence he’ll be in the country well ahead of Sydney’s NBL27 opener,” Uluc said.

In his second season in the Hungry Jack’s NBL, and first in Sydney, Davis averaged 25.1 points, 7.1 assists and 3.7 rebounds per game to guide the Harbour City side to its historic sixth title.

The Kings are currently in Bendigo for the 2026 CODE Sports Blitz, where they’ll face South East Melbourne and New Zealand.
