The New Zealand Breakers have completed their local contingent ahead of the Hungry Jack’s NBL27 Season, signing Anzac Rissetto on a one-year deal.

The 25-year-old is coming off a season in Germany with Phoenix Hagen, having previously spent two seasons with the South East Melbourne Phoenix.

"Securing a Kiwi big man with international experience is part of our commitment to a strong Kiwi core," Breakers President of Basketball Operations Dillon Boucher said.

"Anzac knows this league and how to play his role to absolute perfection.

"He is an enforcer who thrives on taking on the challenge head on. He does the heavy lifting, and having a local player with a team-first mindset is precisely what builds championship cultures."

The 6’10” Kiwi big man adds much-needed depth to the frontcourt, with the Breakers now turning their attention to their final two import spots.

Rissetto joins Parker Jackson-Cartwright, Preston Le Gassick, DJ Vasiljevic, Izayah Le’Afa, Carlin Davison, Reuban Te Rangi, Kouat Noi and Sam Mennenga.
