The South East Melbourne Phoenix are reportedly set to sign local point guard Sam Davidson as their final roster addition.

The South East Melbourne Phoenix have reportedly signed Sam Davidson for the Hungry Jack's NBL27 season, according to ESPN's Olgun Uluc.

The 25-year-old had an impressive NBL1 season with the Dandenong Rangers, averaging 15.9 points per game.

Davidson registered 12 points and 3 assists in the Phoenix's most recent pre-season game against Cairns, following 8 points against Melbourne United, 7 against Saint Mary's, and 14 points, 4 assists and 3 steals against Japan's B.LEAGUE UNITED team.

The point guard would become South East Melbourne's final rostered player ahead of the NBL27 season, which tips off on September 19.

Sam Davidson has agreed to a one-year deal with the South East Melbourne Phoenix, sources told ESPN. The 6’3 PG averaged 15.9 ppg for Dandenong this past NBL1 South season; he earns the Phoenix’s final roster spot for #NBL27.
