The Brisbane Bullets have confirmed guard Tristan Devers' departure for a college opportunity

The Brisbane Bullets have released young gun Tristan Devers, with the 21-year-old pursuing a college opportunity with the University of Washington Huskies.

Devers spent three seasons with the Bullets, capping his time at the club with a career-best campaign across the Hungry Jack's NBL27 Season. He averaged 4.9 points and 1.5 rebounds across 16 minutes a game.

"Brisbane has been an amazing place for me to grow, and I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunities I've been afforded here," Devers said.

"This club has helped me grow on and off the court, and I'll always be thankful for the support I have received.

"I will carry great memories and valuable lessons forward from my time at the Bullets and look forward to following the club this season and beyond."

The Brisbane Bullets have agreed to release Tristan Devers, with the young guard continuing his basketball journey at the University of Washington Huskies.

Devers' departure comes amid a significant period of change at the Bullets, headlined by the appointment of new Head Coach Will Weaver.

The Club has bolstered its roster with the additions of Arnas Velička (Neptunas, Lithuania) and Nate Hinton (Memphis Hustle, NBA G League), alongside further incoming pieces in Rio Bruton (South Adelaide, NBL1 Central), Lat Mayen (Perth Wildcats) and Harry Rouhliadeff (University of Hawaii, NCAA).
