Tassie gets a Johnson Jump-start

Tasmania JackJumpers star David Johnson will make his return to the court this Friday night in Perth.
Tasmania JackJumpers forward David Johnson, who has been sidelined for more than a month, will make his long awaited return from injury on Friday night.
The American forward last suited up for the JackJumpers during their Round 1 win in Perth, which is the exact same venue he will return to the hardwood following his calf injury.
That stint on the sidelines included an injury setback, after reaggravating the injury during the rehabilataion process.
Johnson, who averaged 17 points and 5 rebounds in his two NBL26 fixtires, is a timely addition to Scott Roth's squad, who have lost five straight games.
Unfortunately for the NBL24 champions, Australian Boomer Will Magnay remains sidelined with a knee injury but will be a game time decision for the club's home fixture with Sydney on Sunday.
Young big man Archie Woodhill will replace Magnay in Friday's squad for their clash with Perth at RAC Arena.
In other injury news, forward Kobe Williamson will miss the next six weeks after he sustained a foot injury at practice.
Brody Nunn will be the nominated replacement player for Williamson.
Friday's fixture tips off at 9.30pm AEDT, live on ESPN.
