Report: Moore, Phoenix agree to mutual release

Import guard Omari Moore and the South East Melbourne Phoenix have reportedly agreed to a mutual release.

The South East Melbourne Phoenix are back on the market for a new import, with ESPN’s Olgun Uluc reporting that Omari Moore has agreed to a mutual release with the team.

Moore is currently playing for the San Antonio Spurs at the NBA Summer League, but is now believed to be “bound for a team in the Euroleague.”

There was plenty of hype around the 24-year-old American upon his initial signing with Josh King’s team, with many analysts predicting the star guard to be an All-NBL level talent.

The Phoenix will be well represented in Las Vegas as they look to secure some key signatures to build around their impressive local core.
