REPORT: Wildcats sign G League star as final import

The Perth Wildcats are reportedly closing in on signing Mason Jones as their final import for NBL26.

The Perth Wildcats are on the verge of securing their final import for the Hungry Jack’s NBL26 Season, ESPN’s Olgun Uluc is reporting.

Mason Jones, who has 51 games of NBA experience and was the G League’s Finals MVP in 2025, would fill a key role in the Wildcats' starting rotation.

He averaged 23.6 points a game with the Stockton Kings in his most recent season, and has previously played with the Sacramento Kings, LA Lakers, Philadelphia 76ers and Houston Rockets.

The 6’4” American guard was a member of the All-NBA G League Second Team across the past two years.

Mason Jones - a 6’4 American guard – is finalising a deal with the Perth Wildcats, sources told ESPN. Jones is coming off a two-way deal with the Sacramento Kings; he averaged 23.6 ppg (44.7% 3PT; 8.4 3PA), 5.0 rpg, and 7.8 apg for the Stockton Kings in the NBA G-League.
