The 19th edition of the adidas Eurocamp, a premier global showcase for draft-eligible basketball talent, is taking place from June 5–7, 2026, in Treviso, Italy.
The camp will once again bring together elite prospects from Europe, the United States, LATAM, Africa, Australia, APAC and emerging markets.
The event will be attended by hundreds of scouts, coaches and executives from NBA and EuroLeague organisations, reinforcing its reputation as a key pathway to the professional ranks.
Following a successful debut in 2025, the NBL Next Stars program returns with a dedicated team led by three-time NBA Champion Phil Handy.
Rising talents representing seven different countries, with a strong representation from Australia and New Zealand, have been named in the NBL Next Stars roster.
The NBL Next Stars roster includes:
Justin Akengbowa - Forward (2009, Nigeria/Australia)
Jackson Ball - Combo Guard (2008, New Zealand)
Jayden Cecil - Point Guard (2009, Australia/New Zealand)
Oscar Cluff - Centre (2001, Australia)
Dash Daniels - Combo Guard (2007, Australia)
Jai Fa’ale - Combo Guard (2008, Australia)
Yuto Imanishi - Point Guard (2006, Japan)
Malique Lewis - Forward (2004, Trinidad & Tobago)
Jongkuch Mach - Centre (2007, Australia)
Max Mackinnon - Wing (2003, Australia)
Luka Malovic - Wing (2009, Montenegro)
Aron Stazic - Forward (2007, Austria)
“We’re super excited about the group that has come together in Treviso, under the leadership of Coach Handy,” GM Next Stars Recruitment, Liam Santamaria, said.
“We’ve got a wide range of youth and experience in the squad - including eight guys aged 18 years or younger - and everybody’s looking to take their game to the next level.
“We’re proud to support this group of fine young men, and future stars of the game, to participate in such a prestigious event.”
The team has gathered in Treviso, working on court as part of a pre-event mini-camp led by Handy and assisted by professional coaches Daniel James (England), Kristiyan Borisov (Bulgaria) and Alessandra Formica (Italy).
Standout Canadian prospect Malachi Richmond has also joined the group for this part of the preparations.
This year’s adidas Eurocamp will also feature appearances from NBA talent, including Franz Wagner and VJ Edgecombe, who will mentor participants and share insights on the journey to the NBA.
