Three-headed monster
The Brisbane Bullets import trio of Jaylen Adams, Javon Freeman-Liberty and Casey Prather, could be the most offensively potent in the league.

They get a chance to redeem themselves in this pre-season clash, after the Bullets were held to just four points in the last quarter against United during their CODE Sports NBL Blitz game.

Big man battle
United’s new big force Jesse Edwards, made his presence known during the Blitz, being able to be highly effective on both ends.

He gets his first real test tonight against Tyrell Harrison, who many believe is one more strong season away from an NBA opportunity.

Harrison is one of the best local big men in the league and will lock horns with the giant Dutch big man down low.

Defensive beast
John Brown III has already flashed his defensive brilliance in his limited opportunities since arriving at the Phoenix and many believe that under the coaching style of Josh King, they could have the best defensive player in the league.

Brown’s ability to block shots, get deflections and read the game one step ahead are all the reasons why he has a phenomenal defensive reputation.

Young guns
Josh King has never been afraid of giving opportunity to whoever deserves it and this season feels no different, with Owen Foxwell looking poised to be their starting point guard.

The continuous improvement from their young guard is what King has been rewarding as his role continues to grow.

Angus Glover is another, who while he has been around the league for a while now, continues to show that he’s capable of a lot more.

First look at JLA
Perth fans have been patiently waiting to see their new marquee big man Jo Lual-Acuil Jr. in his home colours and now they get that chance.

The last time the dynamic big man was in the NBL, he showed everyone why he was a dominant force on both ends, but especially being able to score in a variety of ways.

Now he’s back in front of his friends and family and could be the piece that takes this Wildcats team from a top four chance to a championship winner.

New mindsets
If the Blitz proved anything for Perth, it’s that Dylan Windler and Kristian Doolittle are attacking this season different to last.

Both players had very strong and productive NBL25 campaigns but now look to continue to build on how they finished.

They have shown that they’re able to fill it up offensively, and this new equal opportunity offense could be just what they need to thrive.
