Canberra has embraced the NBL Blitz in record numbers, with packed crowds set to witness star signings, blockbuster matchups, and elite basketball action across five sold-out days at AIS Arena.

All five days of the CODE Sports NBL Blitz have officially sold out, with fans in Canberra flocking to games in the nation’s capital.

The Blitz has seen unprecedented interest with some of the NBL’s biggest names in action at AIS Arena.

"For tickets across all five days to be completely sold out is just incredible," NBL Group CEO David Stevenson said.

"The support from the people of Canberra has illustrated an immense appetite for more elite basketball in the city. We’ve been informed by the venue that this has been the busiest week, with the greatest number of patrons through the doors in a five-day period, since the Arena’s reopening in 2023.

"Bringing the Blitz to Canberra has been huge success and this is clear evidence of the city's love for the NBL and basketball. I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to ACT Chief Minister Andrew Barr, Sport Minister Yvette Berry, CODE Sports, and all of our NBL clubs & players for their efforts in making this event happen."

All 10 NBL teams play two games each across the five-day tournament, which concludes on Sunday, August 31 with the presentation of the Loggins-Bruton Cup.

"It’s fantastic to see the NBL Blitz now sold out: a result that reflects both basketball’s strong grassroots appeal and continued growth in Canberra, and the strength of community support for bringing top-tier sporting content to the capital," ACT Chief Minister, Andrew Barr said.

"I extend the ACT Government’s sincere thanks to the passionate Canberran sporting community, the NBL and the many hard-working staff and volunteers for contributing to the success of the Blitz in Canberra."

Every Blitz game is available live via Disney+ and Kayo.

The Hungry Jack’s NBL Season tips off on September 18.
