Melbourne hamstrung ahead of Throwdown

An in-form South East Melbourne Phoenix already presented a significant challenge for Melbourne United, but that challenge has become even more daunting with confirmation Matthew Dellavedova (calf), Ian Clark (hamstring) and Luke Travers (concussion) will all miss Sunday's game.

United will call on Rob Loe, Campbell Blogg and Malith Machar for Throwdown XXII, while the Phoenix have just one player on their injury list, Gorjok Gak (calf), to be replaced by new signing Daniel Johnson.

Tickets are selling fast for the clash between the first and third-placed teams, while the game will be available to watch live and free on ESPN via Kayo Freebies, 10 Peach & 10 Play.

Tip-off is at 2pm AEDT on Sunday.
