The Brisbane Bullets have reportedly re-signed US import Javon Freeman-Liberty for the rest of the NBL26 season.

Just six weeks after leaving the Brisbane Bullets, it is reported that star import Javon Freeman-Liberty is set for a return to the club.

According to CODE Sports' Michael Randall, Freeman-Liberty, who was granted a mutual release in October, will sign with Brisbane as an injury replacement for the rest of the Hungry Jack's NBL26 season.

This comes less than a week after the Bullets lost Casey Prather (knee) and Jaylen Adams (release).

CODE Sports reports that 26-year-old Freeman-Liberty contacted individual players, including captain Mitch Norton, to explain his situation and ask if they would welcome him back. Those calls were suggested to be met with open arms.

US guard Freeman-Liberty, who averaged 19 points, 5 assists and 4 rebounds during his two appearances this season, would join reported signing Terry Taylor on Stu Lash's roster for the remainder of the 2025-16 season.

Brisbane, who are 5-9 on the season, host South East Melbourne on Thursday from 7.30pm AEDT, live on ESPN.
