Talking points

Falling short

Melbourne United have five losses already this season, and four of those are by under two points, with Jacob Chance highlighting the team’s decision-making down the stretch.

With Cole Anthony fouling out in the clutch after an offensive foul, United fell behind thanks to a Brandon Knight jump shot and then failed to get a clear look to win the game.

The big questions loom still: what is their best closing lineup?

The reign continues

The Sydney Kings are just quietly and efficiently going about their business so far this season, and they’re doing it by committee.

Yes, Kendric Davis is leading from the front, but everyone is having their moments to step up and make big contributions.

Import centre Andrew Carr is coming off a record-breaking 20-rebound night against the Illawarra Hawks, while Makuach Maluach is one of the most damaging shooters in the League.
