Talking points
Welcome back, Jaylin
Cairns Taipans recruit Jaylin Galloway is set to make his long-awaited debut for his new club on Sunday, teaming up with his brother Kyrin for the first time at NBL level.
The former champion made waves in the off-season, when he departed the Sydney Kings to join the Taipans.
One of the most athletic players in the League now looks set to join an offence that should suit his play style perfectly.
Watch the box score
Fans haven’t seen the best version of Taipans star Jack McVeigh so far in NBL27, but a matchup against the Breakers could be just what the doctor ordered.
Last season when these two teams met, the marquee man scored a career-high 47 points and was simply unstoppable.
However, McVeigh won’t be the only one who could potentially eclipse the 40-point mark in this game, with Sam Mennenga having already done it previously and feeling as confident as ever.
