The New Zealand Breakers have received a massive boost on the eve of their Round 6 clash with the Cairns Taipans on Sunday.
The Breakers announced on Saturday that superstar point guard and MVP contender Parker Jackson-Cartwright has been cleared to make his return from a lower-leg injury.
The American, who sustained the injury after the team’s Round 3 win over Adelaide, is averaging career-best figures in points (26.6), assists (9.4), three-point percentage (44.2), free-throw percentage (85.7) and blocks (0.6) across his five Hungry Jack’s NBL27 fixtures.
This news comes as the Taipans also announced that star wing Jaylin Galloway would be making his Taipans debut during the Cairns Convention Centre clash.
Sunday’s match tips off at 3pm AEDT, live on ESPN.
