Talking points
Desperate times
Both Brisbane and Illawarra are desperate for a win, but with the Bullets’ injury list, the real desperation will come from the Hawks.
After a disappointing game against the Kings after they got a big win over Melbourne, Justin Tatum said in the press conference that his team is making too many selfish plays offensively.
The Hawks’ leading man finished by saying he expects a much more balanced and selfless effort against Brisbane.
From a Bullets perspective, they were in the house on Thursday night watching that game and no doubt Will Weaver would have a plan in place to keep the Hawks’ losses piling up.
More Neto, please
Bullets injury replacement Raul Neto looked exactly like the international star he is during the team’s loss to Tasmania.
The Brazilian veteran only played limited minutes due to arriving in the country earlier that week, but as time has elapsed, expect his minutes to go up each game.
Whether it was scoring, passing or simply controlling things at the point, Neto is the perfect replacement for the injured Arnas Velicka.
