"It’s exciting to have Ben back (and) trusting us to help him chase his goal of the NBA."

The Perth Wildcats have taken another important step in their NBL26 preparations, re-signing rising local talent Ben Henshall on a two-year deal.

“It’s exciting to have Ben back (and) trusting us to help him chase his goal of the NBA,” Wildcats head coach John Rillie said.

“His shot-making and explosive scoring ability complements the other pieces on our roster.”

Henshall was one of the most closely followed names of the off-season, having participated in the NBA Draft Combine and explored high-level collegiate opportunities.

A dynamic offensive presence, Henshall enjoyed a breakout NBL25 campaign with the Wildcats, averaging close to 10 points per game and demonstrating growth on both ends of the court.

“Super excited to re-sign and continue my journey with Perth,” Henshall said.

“Can’t wait to play in front of the Red Army again and chase that championship.”

With Henshall locked in, the Wildcats have one final roster spot to fill, an import point guard who could solidify their championship push this season.
