Clubs tease early season blockbusters

The Sydney Kings and South East Melbourne Phoenix have announced blockbuster NBL25 fixtures.
Fans in Sydney and Melbourne will be treated to blockbusters in Round 2 of the NBL25 season, with the Kings and Phoenix set to host the Hawks and United respectively.
Following the inaugural HoopsFest round in Perth to open the season, rivalries will be reignited with the Throwdown at John Cain Arena on Thursday, September 26, before the Freeway Series clash at Qudos Bank Arena on Sunday, September 29.

South East Melbourne fans will have the opportunity to watch new recruits Nathan Sobey and Derrick Walton Jr. for the first time in the flesh, as the Kings welcome back superstar Xavier Cooks and star former Taipan Cam Oliver.
The announcements from the Phoenix and Kings follow news the New Zealand Breakers will host a game in Wellington in December, while the Brisbane Bullets are set to return to the Brisbane Entertainment Centre for all home fixtures.
The Adelaide 36ers also confirmed they'd host South East Melbourne for their opening home game on October 3 at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre.
