Talking points
Help has arrived
The Taipans had no point guard last weekend and it was a brutal watch for their fans, as the team committed 13 turnovers in the first half.
That should all be a thing of the past now that Andrew Andrews has touched down in the far north. Now, he may not be at full strength having just landed, but whatever he can give his team will help them as they have a tough double-header this weekend.
Prather’s point to prove
No expert, outside of Casey Prather's wife Ariana, had him in the All-NBL First team predictions and after the first game, the rest may need to get on board.
Prather picked up where he left off last season with an emphatic showing in the team’s win over the Breakers. He may not be the same player who used to dunk on people for fun, but he just might be more damaging now than he ever was.
