REPORT: Taipans make import change

ESPN’s Olgun Uluc reports the Cairns Taipans will sign Andrew Andrews as an import for NBL26, replacing Ashton Hagans.
The Cairns Taipans have reportedly signed Andrew Andrews as an import for the Hungry Jack's NBL26 Season.
According to ESPN's Olgun Uluc, Hagans will no longer play for the Taipans due to visa complications - forcing the club to look elsewhere for their final piece.
Andrews, 32, boasts experience in the international league's, playing for teams in Turkey, Latvia, Israel, Lithuania, Spain, and in Greece with Panathinaikos.
He most recently played in the Lithuanian Basketball League for Wolves Twinsbet - where he averaged 13.3 points and 2 rebounds per game.
Andrews joins the Taipans one week out from the NBL26 season tip-off. Their first game is on Saturday, September 20 against the South East Melbourne Phoenix at 5:30pm AEST.
