All 10 NBL clubs will hit the court at AIS Arena from Wednesday, with the brand-new CODE Sports NBL Blitz logo front and centre.

NBL fans are in for a treat this week as official pre-season games tip off in Canberra, with CODE Sports stepping in as the new naming rights partner for the Blitz showcase.

All 10 NBL clubs will hit the court at AIS Arena from Wednesday, with the brand-new CODE Sports NBL Blitz logo front and centre - a symbol of a new three-year partnership that cements CODE as the NBL’s official media partner.

CODE Sports’ Commercial Partnerships Editor, Tim Morrissey, said the deal reflects a shared vision to elevate NBL further.

“We’re excited to be the naming rights partner of the CODE Sports NBL Blitz and to expand our coverage as the NBL’s official media partner. Basketball is already the number two sport among Aussies under 40, and we’re committed to telling the league’s stories at every level,” he said.

NBL Group CEO David Stevenson echoed the enthusiasm.

“The CODE Sports Blitz is the perfect way to launch this partnership. CODE Sports’ commitment to storytelling has been crucial in driving our growth as the fastest-rising league in Australia and New Zealand,” he added.

Basketball legend and seven-time NBL MVP Andrew Gaze described the Blitz as the “official launchpad” of the season, where fans, coaches and players get their first look at new rosters and tactical change.

“It’s a chance to see the talent across the league in one place - new signings, coaching changes, fresh systems. That’s what makes the Blitz such a fascinating watch,” Gaze said.
