NBL launches “Beat the Coach”, presented by Choice Hotels™

Each round, fans pick their six players and try to outscore Montrezl Harrell. Beat the Coach and you’re in the draw for weekly and season-long prizes.
The National Basketball League (NBL) has unveiled Beat the Coach, presented by Choice Hotels - a simple, weekly fan challenge launching for the Hungry Jack’s NBL26 season and led by Adelaide 36ers star Montrezl Harrell as the Coach to beat.
Each round, fans pick their six players and try to outscore Harrell. Beat the coach and you’re in the draw for weekly and season-ending prizes, with three weekly winners taking home cash or accommodation vouchers from Choice Hotels and a $10,000 major prize at the end of the season, consisting of $5,000 cash and $5,000 in Choice Hotels gift vouchers.
“Beat the Coach is designed to be easy, social and fun - a reason to check the schedule, set your line up and watch more games every round,” News Sports Network's Head of Fantasy Sports, Paul Zines said.
“We wanted to make fantasy sports more exciting and accessible for the NBL community. We encourage fans to set up leagues, pick fresh teams each week, and get mates involved. With a global name like Montrezl Harrell as the Coach, fans have a clear target and a great story to follow all season.”
NBL star and “The Coach” Montrezl Harrell said: “Every week, see if you can take a chance at beating me in Beat the Coach - best of luck.”
