Two exciting Australian prospects squared off against each other in the first scrimmage on Day 3 at the Combine.

As the NBA Draft Combine continues to roll on, it’s again Alex Toohey and Lachlan Olbrich who are putting their best foot forward in front of NBA eyes.

The two exciting prospects squared off against each other in the first scrimmage on Day 3, with Olbrich’s Team Mueller winning 104 to 87.

The Hawks’ big man just continues to impress both the draft experts and NBA teams in attendance, putting up 13 points and 12 rebounds, seven of which were offensive.

“Olbrich showed touch around the rim with both hands and converted the opportunities that came his way,” ESPN draft expert Jeremy Woo said.

“He has proven reliable, if not flashy, like many Australian bigs who have come before him.”

Olbrich has not put a foot wrong since he arrived in the USA, continuing his strong form after the G League Elite Camp.

Toohey was again very solid and helped push his case for a first round projected pick, pouring in nine points and seven rebounds, four of those on the offensive end.

Perth Wildcats' star guard, Ben Henshall, also helped his stock in the second scrimmage of the day. He had 10 points and three rebounds in a win and is continuing to prove to be very capable of handling the ball and being a primary playmaker.
