Aussies Abroad: Landale double-doubles for Grizzlies

A double-double from Australian big man Jock Landale was not enough, as his Memphis Grizzlies fell to Atlanta.
Memphis' Jock Landale has won the battle of the Aussies against Dyson Daniels, but it was Atlanta who made off with the win in their NBA clash away from home.
The Hawks posted a 124-122 win on Wednesday (Thursday AEDT) on the back off Jalen Johnson's game-high 32 points, 15 rebounds and eight assists, including a key basket at the end.
There were 21 lead changes and 14 ties in the game.
Onyeka Okongwu (18 points and nine rebounds) and Luke Kennard (18 points) also played a big part for the 10th-placed Hawks in the Eastern Conference.
Daniels enjoyed 35 minutes of game time for the Hawks - only Johnson played more with 39 - for three points and seven rebounds.
Landale though, in his 28 minutes on court, posted 13 points to go with 11 rebounds for the Grizzlies.
Ja Morant led the scoring for Memphis but his three-point attempt at the end was off the mark. Jaylen Wells and Cedric Coward registered 18 and 17 points respectively.
The Grizzlies, playing for the first time since ending a two-game series against Orlando in Berlin and London, lost for the eighth time in 11 games. They fell to 4-11 against Eastern Conference opponents.
In New York, the Knicks broke a four-game losing streak without breaking a sweat, crushing the Brooklyn Nets 120-66 in the most lopsided victory in franchise history.
Jalen Brunson scored 20 points and Landry Shamet was six for six on three-pointers and added 18 for the Knicks, who led by as much as 59 points before the 54-point victory that surpassed the previous largest victory margin of 48 points.
The Knicks had lost nine of their last 11 games so this was a good time to play Brooklyn, because they never lose to the Nets these days. New York won their 13th straight meeting in the local rivalry.
In Milwaukee, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had 40 points, 11 assists and seven rebounds as the NBA-leading Oklahoma City Thunder withstood multiple injury-related absences to trounce the Milwaukee Bucks 122-102.
The Thunder won for the seventh time in eight games despite playing without Jalen Williams (strained right hamstring), Isaiah Hartenstein (strained right soleus), Alex Caruso (strained right adductor), Aaron Wiggins (sore right groin) and Jaylin Williams (bruised left glute).
Gilgeous-Alexander picked up the slack, as the reigning MVP shot 16 of 19 from the floor.
Oklahoma City's Ajay Mitchell scored 18 points in the first half and ended up playing 25 minutes before leaving with a hip bruise. Kenrich Williams also scored 18 points for the Thunder, who shot 54.4 per cent from the floor.
Milwaukee's Giannis Antetokounmpo had 19 points, 14 rebounds and seven assists.
Milwaukee lost despite getting 46 points from their bench.
Oklahoma City scored the game's first seven points and never looked back while closing a four-game trip 3-1. Milwaukee committed eight of their 16 turnovers in the first quarter as the Thunder built a 38-18 lead.
The margin never dropped below 14 the rest of the way as Oklahoma City led by as many as 25.
