This Week's Games (Round 6)

Round 5 offered some of the games of the season so far and was, quite possibly, one of the greatest weekend's of NBL action in the history of the league.

From last week's double overtime thrillers, game-winning shots and frankly ridiculous amounts of drama, will Round 6 produce the goods and continue the incredible season we're having so far?

What’s happening: Get ready for the first Throwdown showdown of the season. This fixture traditionally throws all form out the window and comes down to the simple effort factor of who wants the win more.

This rivalry has just grown and grown since the Phoenix’s introduction to the league, and South East Melbourne will be keen to shake the ‘little brother’ tag against a Melbourne side that looks ripe for the taking.

The inside battle looks to be an intriguing one given United’s lack of size and South East Melbourne’s deep centre rotation of Alan Williams, Zhou Qi and Dane Pineau.
