"They’re not losing a game": Lowery

NBL champion Damon Lowery believes Melbourne United could go undefeated in 2025.
They're undefeated through the first four rounds of the Hungry Jack's NBL26 season, and now NBL commentator and champion Damon Lowery believes Dean Vickerman's 5-0 Melbourne United side aren't 'losing a game in 2025'.
"Brisbane's got the toughest assignment [in the NBL] because Melbourne United might not lose a game," Lowery said on Friday's episode of NBL Now.
"[Honestly, I think] they're not losing a game in 2025. I guess beating them is a possibility next year when they get bored, because they might be nine or 10-0. You know, you might have to have that one loss just to kind of spice up the year. It's going to be tough sledding for Brisbane [on Friday].
"[Honestly], a full strength Tasmania might be the only team that will give them a run [for their money]."
Backing up Lowery's sentiments are facts United lead the league in offensive rating (124.9), defensive rating (99), net rating (+25.9) and rebound percentage (54.8).
United's clash with Brisbane tips off 7.30pm AEDT, live on ESPN.
