Jayson Tatum was seen embracing his father in the crowd after a memorable NBA Finals victory.
Josh Green and Dante Exum's Dallas Mavericks have fallen to the Boston Celtics in the NBA Finals, going down 4-1 in the best-of-seven series.
The Celtics claimed their 18th NBA championship and first since 2008, with a dominant victory in Boston.
Green had his best game of the Finals in defeat, scoring 14 points in 22 minutes of action, while Exum finished with two points in eight minutes of action.
Luka Doncic's 28-point haul wasn't enough to get the Mavericks over the line, after dominant displays from Jayson Tatum (31 points, 11 assists, 8 rebounds, 2 steals) and Jaylen Brown (21 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals).
Tatum, the son of Illawarra Hawks coach Justin, won his first NBA title, embracing his father in the crowd after a memorable victory.
The Boomers pair will now start their preparations for Paris, with exhibition games tipping off in Melbourne in early July, before the Olympics get underway on July 26.
