Sykes leads Pacers to win: NBLxNBA Summer League Day Nine Recap

Keifer Sykes’ strong NBA Summer League campaign continued on Tuesday as he helped lead the Indiana Pacers to a 74-65 victory over the Washington Wizards.

The former South East Melbourne Phoenix guard recorded 12 points, two assists, two rebounds and three steals as he tries to turn his Exhibit-10 deal with the Pacers into a guaranteed contract.

Former Brisbane Bullet BJ Johnson played 14 minutes for Indiana and had two points, four rebounds and two assists.

NBL21 Defensive Player of the Year Justin Simon contributed in numerous ways for the Phoenix Suns in their clash with the Cleveland Cavaliers as he amassed seven points, six rebounds, two assists and two steals.

New Cairns Taipans import Tahjere McCall had a poor shooting night for the Orlando Magic as he finished with five points and three assists in their loss to the Detroit Pistons.

Former South East Melbourne forward Ben Moore had two points and five rebounds for the Memphis Grizzlies as they took down the Los Angeles Clippers.
