JackJumpers farewell Championship hero

Wednesday, April 9, 2025
ESPN's Olgun Uluc reports Krslovic had already attracted interest from multiple teams across the league.
Fabijan Krslovic will be looking to find a new home during the NBL’s Free Agency period, with the Tasmania JackJumpers confirming he won’t be offered a new deal with the club.
Krslovic, a key part of the JackJumpers’ build since their inaugural year in 2021 and a member of their championship-winning roster, will depart the club after four seasons.
“Fab has been enormous for this club over the four years. His impact on the club, but more importantly on the state of Tasmania, can’t be understated. He’s been crucial in laying and upholding the culture of the JackJumpers,” Head Coach Scott Roth told the club’s website.
“He knows he’s been one of my favourites from day one. The way he goes about it, he’s just a wonderful human being.”
Krslovic paid tribute to the club for the opportunity they’d given him.
“I had no idea what to expect when Scott called me to come on board as a foundation player 4 years ago, but what Tasmania has given me has surpassed any of my wildest expectations,” he said, in a letter to fans.
The 29-year old played 129 games for the JackJumpers, following three seasons with the Cairns Taipans.
