Where will Duop Reath be playing next season?

Australian Boomers star Duop Reath has admitted he doesn’t know what the future holds after a successful stint in the NBA Summer League.

Reath impressed with the Portland Trail Blazers during the Summer League, where he averaged 13 points and 7.4 rebounds in five appearances.

After his strong 2021/22 campaign with the Illawarra Hawks, Reath has continued to perform at a high level in China and Lebanon.

The 27-year-old is about to enter the Boomers' World Cup camp, but his club future for season 2023/24 remains undecided – and he says he's still considering his suitors.

"I'm not really sure what's next, I'm looking at all my options, but I'm just blessed to be in a situation where I have some options,” Reath told ESPN.

“I'm grateful for that and just trying to be the best I can now."

A member of the Tokyo Olympics team that won a historic bronze medal, Reath is looking forward to battling for a spot on the 12-man team Australia sends to next month’s World Cup.

"It's going to be competitive. You've got great big men over there," Reath said.

"Whoever they select is going to be the right pick. It's going to be for the right fit for the team.

"We need the best team to be on the court. Everyone will be at camp trying to play their best, it will be the best fit for the team to help them win.”
