Hopson starred for the Breakers last season, averaging 19.1 points, 5.9 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game. The 30-year-old was named to the All-NBL Second Team and was nominated for the MVP award.
New Zealand has Tom Abercrombie, Finn Delany, Rob Loe, Dan Trist, Corey Webster, Tai Webster and Jarrad Weeks rostered for the upcoming season, with Kyrin Galloway and Terry Li signed as development players.
