The Hungry Jack’s National Basketball League (NBL) has made a change to the schedule in line with its Covid health and safety protocols.

The December 31 game between the Cairns Taipans and New Zealand Breakers will now be played between the Cairns Taipans and Perth Wildcats.

Tip-off between the Taipans and Wildcats will be 8pm AEDT on Friday night at the Cairns Convention Centre.

The health and safety of the players, coaches, clubs, staff and fans is the League’s number one priority when considering these matters.

The NBL will continue to follow the advice of governments and health authorities.

Regular testing of all players and staff will continue, while further testing will be carried out on individuals impacted or those deemed close contacts.
