The Tasmania JackJumpers have signed Nick Marshall on a two-year deal.

The Tasmania JackJumpers have signed 25-year-old Australian Nick Marshall on a two-year contract.

The 6'6 guard has made the move from the Adelaide 36ers, where he played four seasons.

"Nick is a really talented, athletic young player who has shown great potential in his first few years in the League," JackJumpers' Basketball General Manager, Mika Vukona said.

"He is quite versatile especially with his size and shooting ability. We’re excited to bring him into the program and see him continue to develop with the group we’re bringing together."

Marshall explained how a JackJumpers championship player influenced his move.

“The culture is something that’s well known across the league and I’m really keen to be part of that. Jack McVeigh is a great friend of mine and seeing what he was able to achieve in this program is exciting," Marshall said.

“I also know Tasmania has a special basketball community, the fans are amazing, and I’m looking forward to representing them and playing in front of them this season."

Marshall is currently in New Zealand, where he has made an impressive start to the NZ NBL season with Wellington Saints.
