Adelaide 36ers veteran Daniel Johnson went to work for Forestville against the Centre of Excellence with 39 points and nine rebounds. His Sixers teammate, Lachlan Olbrich, got all the headlines though, after this massive dunk for the Southern Tigers.

Anthony Drmic stuffed the stat sheet with 32 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals for Northside against North Gold Coast.

Further north, Taipans veteran Nate Jawai made his debut for the Darwin Salties with 14 points and 8 rebounds against Townsville.

In a heart-warming moment, Sydney King Jordan Hunter made his long-awaited return to the court after injury, recording 21 points and 12 rebounds for North Gold Coast.

Grand Final hero Dejan Vasiljevic also hit the NBL1 court for the first time this season with 32 points for his hometown Diamond Valley Eagles.

Jack White helped the Geelong Supercats defeat the previously undefeated Mount Gambier Pioneers with 20 points and 10 rebounds, while his new Melbourne United teammate Makuach Maluach had two big games with 29 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists vs Townsville, and 23 points and 5 rebounds vs Cairns.

Sandringham went 2-0 in the round, with Tohi Smith-Milner (17 points, 7 rebounds) hitting the game winner against Nunawading.
