NBL stars headline Boomers squad

10 current NBL stars headline the Australian Boomers squad for next month's fixtures with New Zealand.
The Australian Boomers have unveiled their 12-person squad for the upcoming 2027 FIBA Basketball World Cup Qualifiers.
Headlining the Asia Cup champion's squad, announced on Friday, are 10 NBL players for the two clashes against Trans-Tasman rivals New Zealand.
Those 10 stars are South East Melbourne's Jordan Hunter, Angus Glover and Owen Foxwell, Tasmania's Will Magnay and Josh Bannan, Sydney's Jaylin Galloway, Melbourne's Dash Daniels, Brisbane's Alex Ducas, Illawarra's Will Hickey and Perth's Elijah Pepper.
Joining those 10 are NBL champions Nick Kay and Jack White, who are currently playing for Shimane Susanoo Magic (Japan) and Mersin MSK (Turkey) respectively.
Tasmania's Ben Ayre and Centre of Excellence duo Alex Dickeson and Ajak Nyuon have been named in he extended squad for coach Dean Vickerman's side.
The two Tall Blacks fixtures will take place on Friday, November 28 at MyState Bank Arena, Hobart and Monday, December 1 at TSB Arena, Wellington.
