Ben Henshall (calf) will miss the Perth Wildcats' clash with Tasmania on Sunday.

The Perth Wildcats' backcourt depth will be tested during their opening Round 13 clash with the Tasmania JackJumpers.

Rising star Ben Henshall will join guard Jaron Rillie (hamstring) on the sidelines for the road game, due to a calf injury.

This news places extra ball-handling responsibilities on Elijah Pepper, David Duke Jr, Dylan Windler and Kristian Doolittle.

Australian Boomer Henshall, who will be replaced by development player Tom Gerovich on Sunday, will be re-evaluated ahead of Perth's December 28 fixture with Adelaide.
