Wounded Wildcats

The Perth Wildcats will be without Mitch Norton for tonight’s clash with the Tasmania JackJumpers, while Vic Law is a game time decision, according to The West Australian.

JackJumpers ready for Perth

JackJumpers captain Clint Steindl says Tasmania has put their loss to Brisbane behind them and are ready for tonight’s battle with Perth.

“The Perth team has a high-powered offense so it’s going to be pretty tough. We’ll stick to our processes and they’re a pretty good team so it’s not always going to work out the way you want it to, so you’ve got to be able to stick to the plan,” Steindl said via The Mercury.

Kings getting better in clutch

Sydney Kings coach Chase Buford has been encouraged by his side’s ability to get better with their execution in clutch situations.

“I’m very encouraged by our team’s ability to continue to grow down the stretch. I still think we can sometimes get a better shot, but we’re learning how to execute down the stretch and what a good shot looks like,” Buford said via Newscorp.

Energy no issue for Sixers

Adelaide 36ers coach CJ Bruton was happy with his side’s effort, energy and execution in yesterday’s loss to Sydney.

“I thought that we played with great energy. I thought the execution of the game plan was very solid, we took the right shots, but unfortunately we come up short again,” Bruton said via Newscorp.
