Big Apple eyes on Travers

Tatalovich is no stranger to Perth, being a former assistant coach with the Wildcats.
3-5 Kings could impact NBA
Sydney coach Chase Buford believes Jaylen Adams, Ian Clark, Jarell Martin, Xavier Cooks and Dejan Vasiljevic all have the talent to make an impact in the NBA.
“Between three and five guys, I firmly believe could impact an NBA game right now,” Buford told the Sydney Morning Herald.
Could NBA invest in NBL?
NBL Commissioner Jeremy Loeliger has commented on the prospect of the NBA one day investing in the NBL.
“We have a great relationship with the NBA, and we are always talking with them about ways to continue to grow the game. There’s a great deal of interest in our league and our clubs from all corners of the globe of late and people are consistently asking how they can get involved,” Loeliger said via Newscorp.
How Digbeu can keep growing
Brisbane Bullets coach James Duncan has outlined the areas of improvement for Tom Digbeu, as the NBL Next Star continues his strong play to end the season.
“In order for him to take the next step is to continue to dive into a scout, into the weight room, into practice and taking those steps so that he's able to perform like he was able to perform the last two games,” Duncan said via MSN.
Colangelo visits NBL
Illawarra Hawks co-owner, and two-time NBA executive of the year, Bryan Colangelo, is currently down under to visit the Hawks and attend games.
“We’re very excited to have Bryan make his way down. We have already hit the ground running and sharing insights first-hand into our program and what we have developed as a group,” Illawarra co-owner and president Dorry Kordahi said via Newscorp.
Wildcat regret over Brown situation
Perth Wildcats coach Scott Morrison has admitted the club could have handled their pursuit of John Brown in a better manner.
“It’s a really tough situation. I think we probably should just have been more up front with it from the beginning but it was tough because there were a lot of unknowns,” Morrison said via The West Australian.
Adams praises Longley knowledge
Sydney guard Jaylen Adams has revealed the massive impact Kings’ special advisor Luc Longley has had on him.
“Luc made me feel welcome from day one. He regularly talks to me; sends me texts and we’ve been out to dinner a few times. Luc is a good dude and it’s about soaking up that knowledge,” Adams said via Newscorp.
Loss doesn’t define season: Roth
Tasmania JackJumpers coach Scott Roth has reassured his players yesterday’s big loss to Sydney doesn’t define their successful season.
“I told these guys after the game, this game does not define our season by any means,” Roth said via the Sydney Morning Herald.
White stops overthinking
Melbourne United forward Jack White has revealed he needs to do a better job of not overthinking when he is on the court.
“I definitely find myself overthinking a fair bit of the time and that’s definitely not good for me. I feel I’m at my best when I’m playing off instincts and just playing free,” White said via Newscorp.
