Wildcats receive double import boost

Perth are set to have David Duke Jr and Dylan Windler in their lineup for Sunday's clash with South East Melbourne.
The Perth Wildcats are set to receive a huge boost for their Round 7 showdown with South East Melbourne.
Recently signed import guard David Duke Jr, who only arrived in Australia on Monday, is set to make his debut, while American forward Dylan Windler, who coach John Rillie labelled as a "huge piece" and "one of the best rebounders in the league", is in line to make his return from an ankle injury he sustained on October 19 in Sydney.
In terms of the former, a "nice, gradual build-up" to his first game has allowed the 6'4 American to adjust to the style of play of Hungry Jack's NBL.
“The biggest adjustment for people when they come to the NBL is understanding and realising that defence is played for pretty much 94 feet," Rillie toldThe West Australian.
"The sooner you can pick up the opposition the better chance you have.
"The NBA and G League are more like get back, compact and contest on shot. That’s probably the biggest adjustment and the thing he’s noticed the most.”
Sunday's John Cain Arena clash tips off at 2.30pm AEDT, live on ESPN and Channel 10.
