Talking points
Breakers' finishing woes
The New Zealand Breakers have lost four games this season after leading by at least 10 points in the game.
Head coach Petteri Koponen says his team need to learn how to win and the Breakers will be hoping that they can get some revenge over the Bullets.
The last time they met, it was the Bullets who completed a 24-point comeback to steal the win.
Kiwi big battle
Two of the best local big men in the league meet, with Tyrell Harrison and his fellow countrymen Sam Mennenga set to lock horns once again.
Both centers have been outstanding in NBL26 and have looked unstoppable at times, each being a focal point of their team’s offence.
The two will be teammates in two weeks time, as they represent New Zealand in the FIBA break, but first they battle it out in the regular season.
What they're saying
Bullets coach Stu Lash on the Bullets continuing their strong Ignite Cup form:
"We had a really strong first Ignite Cup game at Perth where we won all four quarters, and won the game, so we're motivated by the Ignite Cup too.
"For the guys, there's a financial award and we don't shy away from that, and it's just another level of competition for us that we embrace."
Breakers coach Petteri Koponen on his side playing for the full four quarters:
"It's been that kind of season for our team.
"We've had four or five of these games already, where we are there controlling it but let it slip.
It's those small details that can prove the difference. It's frustrating but that's basketball sometimes.
"I'm happy we're competing and are right there in so many games, but it's now on us to take that next step and learn how to win."
